A note from Daniel

Unfortunately, too much of the rhetoric we hear from Washington slips into cliché. So too does much of the jargon and rhetoric in the business world How many times have CEOs and managers told their teams to "keep their eye on the ball" and "swing for the fences" without "dropping the ball" or losing sight of "true north" while they "think outside the box"? Given that familiarity breeds contempt, or at least indifference, is it any surprise that such jargon does little to engage and motivate employees?
