A note from Sary

A formal way to categorize customers is using the Net Promoter Score (NPS). "How likely is it that you would recommend our company/product/service to a friend or colleague?" The score for this answer is most often based on a scale between one and ten. Those who respond with a score of 9 or 10 are labeled "Promoters." Those who respond with a score of o to 6 are labeled "Detractors." Those responding with 7 and 8 are labeled "Passives." Often the scoring is then followed with an open-ended question asking for reasons behind the customer's rating.
