A note from Daniel

These four phases of successful customer development process: 1. Discovery (Divergent): The starting point of the customer discovery process can be an idea, a market insight, or an assump-tion. The discovery phase helps entrepreneurs to explore the status quo of prospects (their Jobs, workflows, unmet needs, etc). This, in turn, helps entrepreneurs get a feel for the opportunities. 2. Validation (Convergent): The next phase is about validating that the wedge or opportunity identified actually matters. This validation can be done through more interviews, landing page testing, or preselling.
