A note from Daniel

How Gaps Get Created Inside Organizations: Businesses don't get to stand still. They try to grow, or they are forced to make changes by competitors, or they have to adapt to market changes. Change begets change. In trying to adapt and improve, new people get brought in, new goals get created, and new targets are set. As businesses attempt to meet their new goals and targets, gaps and problems are exposed. Maybe the setup won't scale, the current performance won't allow the team to meet the targets, or a better way of addressing the objective comes to light.
