Craigslist with 80 million classifieds listings per month and 20 billion page views. It is a top 100 website on the internet, and amazingly, it operates with a staff of only a few dozen people. Today it serves 570 cities across the world and is estimated to generate $1 billion in revenue per year. Yet for all of its success, a long line of startups have cherry-picked some of its most valuable audiences famously referred to as the "unbundling of Craigslist.".

The older dating sites made it feel like you were doing work, like you were inside the office, You'd go and do work emails during the day, then go home and write more messages at night. Getting this initial network off the ground is the key, and the key is the "atomic network"_ the smallest, stable network from which all other networks can be built.
