A note from Daniel

Engagement network effect makes products stickier over time, but how? This process can be modeled as an "engagement loop" that describes how users derive value from others in a network in a step-by-step process. For a social or communication product, the loop often starts with a content creator posting or sending content. The content is then sent to everyone they are connected to, and depending on the size of the network, they get a nice stream of likes and comments back. That's the payoff that keeps them going.
