A note from Daniel

Imagine that your goal is to exercise more often. How would different types of triggers help you accomplish this? • After a stressful day, you might feel an urge to work out. Scheduling your workout to coincide with this craving is motivated by an internal trigger. • If you stop at the gym on your way home from work, you're piggybacking your workout onto a repeating situational trigger--driving home from work. • If you leave your workout clothes on the front seat of your car to remind you to stop by the gym, you're using an external trigger to encourage workouts. •If you join a 30-day group countdown, and check your stats to see how you're doing in comparison with the rest of the group, you've got an engaged trigger.
