A note from Daniel

Opportunity costs are often invisible. We see what we choose but not what we lose. Opportunity cost may be financial, but not always; it can include more nebulous costs like satisfaction or love. Consequently, opportunity costs are often hard or impossible to measure. It takes a disciplined mind to weigh unseen costs against visible ones.
