A note from Daniel

Plot is the fire that tests and transforms the protagonist, revealling their true nature and potential. A character who ends a story unchanged, unaffected by the events of the plot, is a character in a story that hasn't really gone anywhere. The best plots leave characters fundamentally altered, through triumph or tragedy.
